the opposite. There may be more adult enthusiasts
than kids. A quick internet search
will turn up several pages of Adult leagues
across the country. We first found
out about it via an ESPN story one Sunday
morning.
The popularity may come from
the characteristics of the slotted ball
that enable a pitcher to bend his throws,
creating big curves, screwballs, risers,
drop balls and even corkscrew curves,
creating a big challenge for the batter.
